Interface By Savanah and Leon

We made a PMI chart about the benefits and challenges about having a class blog. Some of the positive statements were:

- It show our families what we have been learning in class
- It has been like a diary for the year
- It improves our writing and reading skills
- We get to talk with other classes
- We have learned ICT skills like how to upload photos

Some of the challenges have been:

- Checking our posts and comments for sense and punctuation
- Making our comment interesting, not just saying 'that was cool' or 'that was fun.'
- Saying nice comments not mean ones

Some of the interesting things we said were:

- We won the interface awards
- People that can not read English can change the language on our blog.

We are really pleased to win the Interface award and we thank them for the prize, we are happy with joy.

We are very excited to win the award!

Interface Blog Awards By Matthew and Dylan

We entered the interface competition and by surprise we won the best blog in the country. When Miss Slater announced the message to the class, everyone screamed like crazy!!!!!!! Some people thought it was really loud! If you want a spectacular blog like ours, work hard and try your best.

Miss Slater recorded our reaction when she announced the big news!

Talent Show By Ali and Dylan

Today we had an amazing talent show. We never knew there were so many talented kids in our class. Most of the talents were marvelous, musical and exciting. The people who did performances were really resilient.
These are the people who preformed:
Antony, Rosemary, Anqi, Rohan did keyboard.
Harriet did the poi dance while hula-hooping.
Tom did tae kwon do.
Star did a poem that she wrote her self.
Isabelle did dance and it was probably the best dance I have ever seen!!!!!

Ukulele Performance!

Check out Harriet and Paige in their ukulele performance! Two talented musicians!

Homework: Family Photos

Aurasma By Rosemary and Sarah

Today we used an app called Aurasma. This is how it works, first you film yourself or with a friend talking about your brilliant piece of work. Then you take a photo of a piece of work. After that you go into Aura, click your video and then it will automatically play each time you scan your work.

We could use this app for the following things:

- Showing our parents what we have learnt this year/term.
- Sharing our ideas and our work at assembly.
- We could take a photo of our writing then record ourself reading our writing
- We could take a video and talk about the science wall about lots of different bits and bobs
- Portraits how we made them
- Superheros why we chose them
- Talent show who we picked
- What people think of there work

This app is cool because we would learn to use another skill on the ipad and ipod.

Check it out in action below!!

Photobooth and Photo Editing with our Buddy Class By G4

We sure had fun using Photo Booth and iPhoto today to capture interesting picture of us and our buddies! The winners of the photo competition would have to be Tom and Dylan! They used the effects on both Photo Booth and iPhoto very effectively!
