Yesterday at about 9:00am I went on an amazing trip!!! It was called the 'Creative Writing Workshop'. This was because Miss Slater thought my writing was really good. This workshop was at Cardinal Mckreefry School and was run by an author called Holly Gooch. I was the only one in the class who got picked for this! This is a sample of what I wrote:
'Clank!' Sam's gaming device slammed on the ground. Out of it emerged a long white colourless transparant ghost. It slithered like a snake in midair, twisting like a sea serpent with razor sharp claws like tallons. It had red bloodshot eyes and poison venom fangs, with a long 'thin as rope' sword. The shadow was dark and menacing. It had two diagonal slits for nostrils, with a cold dark menacing hand. with scaly wrinkly skin. Its sleek whispering voice hissed "Be gone...." Sam screamed.
Wow Rohan! This is outstanding! You put shivers up my spine! You are a very talented writer and I am really pleased you enjoyed your visit!
