Last week we began to create plays to promote the value of the week which was equity. However, an extra challenge was added.. we had to use as much Te Reo in our plays as possible! This was quite difficult but in the end all of the plays were presented fantastically and showed both equity and a range of Te Reo.
G4rians, leave a comment below sharing how and why you are celebrating Maori Language Week (this could be at school or at home) and there may be a mystery prize for you...
PS Keep an eye out for our Twitter updates which are all in Te Reo this week!
We were using as much Maori words as we can, because it is Maori Language Week, plus we wanted to celebrate it!
